Aquarium Maintenance

Maintaining a saltwater aquarium is a mixture of art, science, and technology. We understand this balance and have a keen eye for making your aquarium look its best. We believe that stability is the key to any successful aquarium so to achieve this, we test and correct your water parameters. We use several methods on maintaining stability, including setting up calcium reactors, dosing pumps, media reactors, or just by determining the optimal manual dose to keep your parameters consistent.

 

Reef Insanity will keep your aquarium clean and healthy! This can be done by adding the proper cleanup crew, cleaning and maintaining your equipment, changing any media your aquarium may require, and cleaning the aquarium throughout including protein skimmers, and filter socks. We will decide what size of water change is required and how often. We will also feed all the aquariums inhabitants and wipe down the tank, stand, and canopy.

 

Livestock: We can cherry pick the best livestock from our holding tanks to fit your needs! If we don't have it we can get it!

 

We can service your aquarium as often as you need. If you just need someone to care for your tank while on vacation or need it maintained biweekly, we will make a schedule that works for you and your needs.

 

We specialize in remote monitoring and control

Another key point in owning a successful aquarium is having the ability to monitor and control your aquarium's parameters.

It is just as important to be able to receive notifications (text or email) when things are not going right, such as a high or low temperature, a pH change, or even a hard to see leak. Nothing does that better than having a Neptune System's Apex on your aquarium. We are experts in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Apex controllers!  With these controllers, you'll be able to remotely control your aquarium's power outlets and lighting, monitor pH, temperature, salinity, and more!

We also set up remote cameras!
